This college is getting the most out of story time! Columbus State’s Early Childhood Development and Education program has just opened its doors to a brand new state-of-the-art facility. The design, a collaboration between SHP and Maraye Design Studio, takes into account social and physical cues to help young learners navigate their first venture out into the real world. The flexible and functional spaces have been created to ensure that children and families receive the best possible experience. And, let’s not forget the fun elements like a mini door to welcome students, an outdoor garden, a huge mound to play on, two-story trees that mimic the outdoors, and green moss on the ceilings.
